Judy moved to Rock Hill with her husband, Orlando, and their children in 1982, as a corporate transferee. Prior to her career in real estate, she was a marketing representative for M & M Mars Candy company both in the Pittsburgh, PA and Charlotte, NC areas. After getting her real estate license in 1983, Judy furthered her real estate education by obtaining her Brokers license for SC, along with the following designations, Graduate of the Realtors Institute, Certified Residential Specialist, Certified Buyers Representative, Accredited Relocation Counselor, Accredited Staging Professional and Certified Real Estate Appraiser.

During her career, Judy, has been a Relocation Director for two major companies in Rock Hill, servicing both incoming and outgoing transferees. Judy has additional knowledge of foreclosure properties. She managed the foreclosure portfolios for Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, Premier Assets and several local lending institutions.

Judy is an active member of the Piedmont Regional Association of Realtors. She has served on many committees both locally and on the state level, as well as the Board of Directors, serving as President of PRAR in 2008. Judy was honored by her peers in 2009 as the Realtor of the Year.

Giving back to the community is a priority to Judy. She has served on the MLK Task Force of the City of Rock Hill. Taught classes to First Time Home Buyers sponsored by the City of Rock Hill. Judy is a member of Canopy MLS, Piedmont Regional Association, South Carolina Associations of Realtors and National Association of Realtors.
